RICHMOND WINS ALL-AMERICA CITY DESIGNATION
*Community encouraged to come out and celebrate*
Parade and FREE Ice Cream Celebration planned
Richmond, IN— June 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., a parade is scheduled to take place starting at the corner of North 10th and East Main Street. The parade route will continue down East Main Street and will end at the City Building where a fun, FREE Ice Cream Celebration sponsored by Smith Dairy has been planned. All those who have sponsored or have helped behind the scenes or in the forefront are invited to participate in the parade. Parade line-up will start at 10:30 a.m. on North 10th between A Street and East Main Street. All participants and spectators are asked to decorate and wear RED, WHITE and BLUE. If your business has a marquee, please help spread the word that "Richmond is an All America City". The parade will include Fire Trucks, Police Cars and the All-America City Team. The community is encouraged to come out and help celebrate in honor of Richmond's area students bringing home the national title of All-America City.
