What is JAG?

JAG, Jobs for America's Graduates, is a program for juniors and seniors at Blackford High School, Muncie Central High School & Connersville High School. JAG focuses on helping high school students that show promise for a better future to stay in school in order to graduate. JAG helps students find an entry-level job leading to a career and/or postsecondary education. The program gives students credit towards graduation and also offers them the opportunity to expand their horizons through business contacts, unpaid & paid internships, guest speakers, mentors, and community service opportunities.  Blackford, Connersville and Muncie Central JAG programs are a part of the Region 6 Eastern Indiana Regional Workforce Board and are funded by the Workforce Investment Act. JAG Programs are in 52 schools in the State of Indiana.
